Artist's Statement
I like to challenge my photography, by making something that is two dimensional feel three dimensional with lots of texture. I tend to lean towards raw images, and try to find the beauty, that most dismiss right away. I work in many mediums including ceramics and paint, but the base is always photography.

Influences for me have been Edward Weston, with his studies of form, and Margaret Bourke-White’s industrial photographer and first woman photojournalist. Although my number one influence has been my mother, an artist herself, she has exposed me to the world of art in general since I was a child. I also find myself being influenced by the Art Deco and the Victorian movement. With all these styles combined I find myself somewhere in the middle.
